ਉੜ ਜਾ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਯਾ ਤੂ

ਦਿਖ ਜਾ ਇਕਰੰਗੇ ਛੁਪਦਾ ਕੀਉ?

ਕਹੰਦੇ ਓਹ ਕਦੇ ਨੀ ਮੁਕਦਾ

ਓ ਰੱਬਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਤੂ ਲੁਕਦਾ?

ਸਦਾ ਹਾਜੂਰੇਯਾ ਰਾਮੈਯਾ ਜੀਓ

ਇਕਦਰਸ ਕਰੋ ਦਰਸ ਦਿਖਾਓ ਜੀਓ

ਦਿਲ ਦੁਖਦਾ ਬੰਧਨ ਫ਼ਸੇਯਾ

ਕਦੋਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਓਹ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੇਯਾ?

ਸੁਨੋ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ

ਚਰਣ ਪਕਰੋ ਜਦ ਲਾਗੋੰ ਨਾ ਸੇਵ!

If I were to tell you what pleases me,

not only would you not believe me,

but also you would not understand.

What is between lovers

stays between lovers.

O me, have you forgotten times when there was no one by your side

none but Him?

Today, when He has given you little worth,

you have forgotten Him, the real friend,

and enjoyed with so-called friends.

O me, you have strayed from The Path.

Listen O my mind, never forget the real friend,

who chose you as an initiate,

who has sheltered you,

and who ever will.

I am such a sinner Lord,

sinner every moment.

O Lord, forgive my poor soul,

bless me with your loving grace.

The real social work is work done for you-

it is beneficial for the whole world.

The real groupwork is getting together to sing your praise.

The real counselling is to remind one to remember you.

I am tired of all these complexities-

please make me serve you and no other, O Master Lord-

This is the limit.

They know I've been begging you for this for so long-

and there is still no response from your side-

Please have mercy upon my poor soul, Lord.

O Guru,

Your Word says

God is Bhagat-vachhal - the Lover of devotees.

I certainly expect love from Him-

but in what way am I, the sinner, a devotee?

Please make me ready to give up everything-

for the pleasure of becoming Your devotee.

I wish to be a mad-lover of You-

intoxicated with Your priceless Spirit, the holy Name.

Show me the way

and walk me along, O Master.

For what reason do you rage, O mind?

Why, have you no fear of God?

Have you forgotten the teachings of the Master?

Where are you heading?

Pray forgive me Lord,

I have been sinning even before I was born.

O kind and forgiving Guru,

When will my sins vanish?

The mountain of separation

is higher than everest.

Don't even think of climbing it

without the advice of one who's returned.

This is the mountain

where every step is a great height,

where every move is against the wind.

But when you reach the peak,

you can touch the universe

and become it.

If anyone wishes to see a loser lover,

look at me.

I don't have love enough

to please my Beloved.

So where is my fault

if I don't have the capacity?

You made me like this-

but I have tried hard.

So what else can I do?

Stop making me walk in circles, Lord!

Show me the Way;

Please hold my hand

and walk me to You.

Surely and purely it is

but the Holy Name of Lord

that is the Saving Grace of all-

beyond the talk of purity,

perfection, highness and holiness.

The mere touch of which

fills a soul with boundless joy.

I cannot describe an iota of the glory of

The Holy Spirit of the Lord.

Unparalleled Supreme Entity,

the only Truth. The Word.

The Spiritual Master.

O Gurudev, I the lowly fool,

the one without virtues,

the one who can't follow the Way,

the unworthy one,

ask

for this

Supreme Priceless entity.

I am a hundred times willing to sell you

my mind, body and soul.

Please, beloved Lord,

embrace this poor soul in Your mercy.

In sitting back

and simply watching

like a child

is the great secret of liberation-

O my mind.

Think about this,

and act on this

every day

every moment.

And you shall

come to know the One

who sees you from a million eyes

and none.

I am sacrifice a hundred times to the Master

with whose grace I have come to understand this.

An easy teaching

hard to follow.

We do what You make us do.

It is only with Your grace

O Beloved Master-

that I may realise Your glory.

Look upon this poor soul,

which is naught without Your grace-

I humbly pray for Your mercy-

my Saviour.
